Physiologic YogaA unique approach to yoga that combines movement and breath to treat stress and persistent pain. This type of yoga will focus on increasing mobility, relaxation & stress relief through gentle movements and opening stretches. It’s a good class for everyone and every body. No experience is necessary.
Stretch, Relax, Restore YogaA 60 minute practice for both beginners and more experienced yogis. The class will be challenging, but accessible to those who are new to yoga. Variations will be offered. The first part of the class will be a Hatha style of practice transitioning mindfully in various standing poses. This practice will build endurance, muscular strength, flexibility and balance. The second part of practice is Yin yoga designed to allow for a deep stretch, targeting the connective tissues, fascia and joints, mixed with restorative moments to relax the body and settle the mind.
Restorative YogaEssentially a yoga nap! Restorative yoga is a restful practice using props like bolsters, blocks and blankets to slow down your mind and open your body through passive stretching. Movement is slow and grounding. There are fewer poses taken in a restorative class, and movement is gentle and healing.
