Physiologic YogaA unique approach to yoga that combines movement and breath to treat stress and persistent pain. This type of yoga will focus on increasing mobility, relaxation & stress relief through gentle movements and opening stretches. It’s a good class for everyone and every body. No experience is necessary.

Chair YogaThis class is a gentle and supportive form of yoga that’s done while seated or using a chair for balance.
Provides benefit to your mobility, strength flexibility and balance. Accessible for all with no yoga experience necessary. |
Restorative YogaEssentially a yoga nap! Restorative yoga is a restful practice using props like bolsters, blocks and blankets to slow down your mind and open your body through passive stretching. Movement is slow and grounding. There are fewer poses taken in a restorative class, and movement is gentle and healing.

Stretch, Relax and RestoreA 60 minute practice for both beginners and more experienced yogis. The class will be challenging, but accessible to those who are new to yoga. Variations will be offered.
The first part of the class will be a Hatha style of practice transitioning mindfully in various standing poses. This practice will build endurance, muscular strength, flexibility and balance. The second part of practice is Yin yoga designed to allow for a deep stretch, targeting the connective tissues, fascia and joints, mixed with restorative moments to relax the body and settle the mind. |
Urban PolingUrban poling involves walking with specialized poles with rubber boot tips that absorb vibration for walking that propels you forward. With Urban Poling you can burn 20- 45% more calories. Poling involves all the major muscle groups. It reduces stress to your hips, knees and ankles and improves stability, strength and posture. Bone Fit™ ProgramThe Bone Fit ™ Program is a new training program developed by Osteoporosis Canada introduced in 2023. The aim is to provide safe, effective and evidenced based exercises to care for people with osteoporosis in the clinic and community. The program addresses safety issues for healthcare professionals who are treating people with osteoporosis through a certification training program. We are proud to be one of the only clinics in Winnipeg offering Bone Fit ™ Workshops and classes. We believe in the importance of minimizing your personal risk of osteoporosis through exercise and lifestyle modification.
