Mike Martin BMRPT, BSc Certified in Acupuncture
Mike graduated from the School of Medical Rehabilitation at the University of Manitoba in 2013. He also completed a Bachelor of Sciences with honours in Zoology in 2009. He is currently working in both public and private practice and has experience in the Emergency department, Intensive Care unit, Surgical and Medical units, Cardiac Rehabilitation, and Outpatient physiotherapy.
Mike is a member of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association (CPA). He has completed the first level of the CPA’s Diploma of Advanced Orthopaedic Manual and Manipulative Exams and has completed his accreditation in acupuncture. Mike enjoys working with patients suffering from sports injuries and has spent time volunteering with the St. Vital Mustangs football club. He has a special interest in geriatrics but enjoys working with people of all ages to treat orthopaedic conditions that cause pain and functional difficulties. Mike loves to help people make positive changes in their lives and take control of their own health. His treatment strategy includes a variety of approaches including the use of modalities, massage, manual therapy, exercise prescription and education.
In his spare time, Mike enjoys spending time with his family as well as playing recreational sports including slo-pitch, football, curling and golf.

Carol Bilinski BMRPT Certified in Acupuncture
Carol graduated from the University of Manitoba with a Bachelor of Medical Rehabilitation. Since graduating over 20 years ago, she has pursued continuing education in various areas including 3 levels of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association’s Diploma of Advanced Orthopaedic Manual and Manipulative Exams and certification in acupuncture, as well as taking a special interest in running, neurological, and vestibular rehabilitation courses.
Carol brings with her a wide variety of extensive experience in both city and rural hospitals, home and community therapy, as well as 17 years in private practice. Growing up in a small town in southern Manitoba has made her a community person at heart and she is always finding various committees and organizations with which to volunteer.
Carol’s passion for physiotherapy and providing optimal care for her patients has never waned - she loves working with her patients to find a treatment approach that is individualized for them and best suits their goals and needs.

Alexandra de Vries PT MSc (Rehb) Certified in Acupuncture
Alex graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Physiotherapy from the Industrial University of Santander, Colombia, in 1996. She came to Winnipeg in 1998 and completed a Masters of Sciences in Rehabilitation at the University of Manitoba in 2002.
In the 21 years Alex has been a physiotherapist, she has worked in a multitude of physiotherapy environments in both private and public practice including St. Boniface Hospital, Concordia Hospital, and Deer Lodge Centre. She has experience in orthopaedic, cardiorespiratory, neurological, and vestibular physiotherapy including post surgical physiotherapy. She especially enjoyed her time working in the Intensive Care Units where it is so rewarding to see the changes day to day in such a vulnerable population.
Alex enjoys participating in continuing education so she can improve her patient’s physiotherapy care and help them recover quickly. She completed her Acupuncture certification in 2008 through the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada Institute, as well as her certification as a Respiratory Educator in 2015 through the Canadian Network for Respiratory Care which has allowed her to provide education and treatment for patients with Asthma and COPD. She has taken several courses in concussion management and vestibular rehabilitation, including certification as a vestibular physiotherapist in Atlanta through the American Physiotherapy Association (APTA). Alex is currently providing vestibular and neurological assessment and treatment under the mentorship of Andrea Giacobbo.
Alex went to Haiti after the earthquake in June 2010 with Helping Hands for Haiti. She volunteered as a physiotherapist with other healthcare professionals and still keeps in touch with some of the locals and professionals that she met there. She has a love of jazz and salsa dancing, and enjoys spending time with her pets and drawing children’s portraits.
